UIF Employee RegistrationNEW-LABOUR-REQUIREMENTS-FOR-WORK-PERMITS-IN-SOUTH-AFRICAIf you are a business owner and have employees you will be required to register each employee with the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF).

 

To register an employee you will require the following:

  • Full Name and Surname of the employee
  • I.D number of the employee
  • Date of engagement
  • Gross monthly remuneration

 

This registration should take approximately 5-6 working days.

UIF is calculated at 1% of gross monthly remuneration.
